Maytag 33-Inch Wide Top Freezer Refrigerator with PowerCold® Feature- 21 Cu. Ft.

I've had this refrigerator for about 4 months so I've gotten to know its pros and cons. Unfortunately, no matter where I looked, no store had a demo model to look at so I bought it based on the pictures. Mistake! The top shelf does not have enough height to accommodate a bottle, milk carton or pitcher. It can't be adjusted because the deli shelf hangs right beneath it. the door shelves can hold some bottles, but the overall layout could have been much more efficiently designed. On the plus side, the freezer light is a nice plus. Clear vegetable bins make it easier to see what's inside and the fingerprint resistant stainless steel doesn't show hand prints. I almost rated it a 2 because after 2 months I started having condensation build up and puddles on my top shelf. Maytag warranty repair service has so far been abysmal. I called in early Aug and was given a mid-Sept date for a repair visit. A day before the visit, (after I had rearranged my work schedule), it was cancelled and I was given an Oct date that didn't work for me. Now I have to wait until early Nov for a repair visit. It's still dripping. Don't get an extended warranty if this is how they deliver on needed repairs.

Delivered less than a month ago. Immediately had excess condensation. A drain tube was sealed puddles of water all over.

The door squeals when I open it. Otherwise I like the shelf arrangements, the wide upper drawer for lunch meat, cheese, etc. nice size crispers. East to clean shelves. Door shelves nicely arranged. Easy to clean stainless steel. Ya, I like It!

I bought it for replacing my old 27-inch fridge, it does great job as I expected.

delivered on sept 13, 2019. the next day our kitchen floor was flooded with water when we awoke. the ice maker failed, took us 1/2 hours to clean up. called whirlpool about this may tag refrigerator, they said that home depot was responsible, called home depot, they said whirlpool was, wente back and forth for two hours, finally home depot set up an appointment for sept 17. The refrigerator has been running constantly since it was turned on, it won't shut off, the repairman came and said that this refrigerator was a piece of junk, since then the refrigerator is leaking water on the top shelf of refrig and dripping down on floor. They say they are getting us a new one, but when??????? our 20 year old maytag that we just replaced worked better than this one
