This trim kit is not flush

I’m unhappy with this trim kit, the photos online are deceptive because the kit is not flush with the microwave. The kit is recessed about 2 inches from it. It looks cheap and odd. I’m also unhappy with the installation. It’s crooked and I am unable to open my cabinet to the right of the microwave. I’ve contacted GE about their faulty installation had an appointment to fix and nobody showed up.
