Frigidaire GALLERY Gallery 10,000 BTU Inverter Window Room Air Conditioner with Wi-Fi (Energy Star)

It's quietness is outstanding. I was impressed enough to purchase an 8,000 BTU model for a smaller room. The only thing I would suggest as an improvement would be to make the control panel easier to read.

I really liked the quietness oh, the cooling is great. I'm a little disappointed with the Wi-Fi connection I have to units one won't stay connected but Frigidaire is working on correcting that with me. Would I buy them again? yes!

I cannot use the the right half of the touch pad ,hence i cannot set up wi-fi. i called customer service but have not heard back. Other than that it works well

I'm Glad I chose this type of room Air Conditioner, work's great and it very quiet. Compare to my old one this one is a breeze easy to manage. Thank's, Mr.G

So I've only owned it for 1 day so far. But I'll post a long term review.. But multiple people on here have complained about not saving settings turning it off/on.. So basically this reveals how they do not read the user manual. User manual states on page 12/16:"After a power outage, the unit will memorize the last setting and return the unit to the same setting once power is restored."So.. I just tested it. I placed it in COOL and 68... hit the "test" button on the plug, this cuts the power (simulates the power outage). Then I restored the power. And sure enough it came back in COOL and 68. So clearly people just need to do the bare minimum of reading around.I do have to admit it is kind of annoying fridge doesn't give that option innately. But I think they are tring to push the ECO mode. Only thing I can say with fridgeaire so far is I owned a smaller cheaper unit ($150 ish).. and it was LOUDDDDD. This one ($480 ish) IS QUIET.. for example.. I have a dishwasher about 30 feet away from me.. and a HEPA filter next to the AC unit (15 feet away) and I can hear the HEPA filter and dishwasher WAY WAY over the AC. Previously the cheaper AC would drown out EVERY noise.So just based on the quietness alone is enough to justify the cost (in my opinion). The cooling is outstanding.. last night was the first time I actually used a blanket. Which is great!The buttons work great for me. I ditched the remote and wifi option. What I will do if I really need to is buy a power regulator on amazon or elsewhere.. It'll cut the power at a certain time of day, and reconnect the power at another time of day. This means while I'm gone at work, save power. 15 minutes before I get home, turn it on and boom itll be cooling rapidly.
